Mica Flakes

Loss Circulation Material

Product Details
Mica is naturally occurring minerals in nine species. The two principal Mica types of commercialimportance are Muscovite (aluminum potassium mica) and Phlogopite (aluminum magnesium mica).

We bring forth supreme quality of Mica, which is widely used in welding electrodes, cables and wires, foundry works, texture paints, acoustical plaster, ceiling tiles and plastics.

In nature, muscovite mica has the tint of either white, silver, green or brown, and often times has a vitreous to pearly luster. The cleaved sheets have good optical clarity, the higher the transparency being associated with the higher the quality of the mica.

Mica has the following strengths:

  • Fire-proof
  • High dielectric strength.
  • Endurance.
  • Uniform dielectric constant.
  • Low dielectric loss (or High Q).
  • High electric resistivity.
  • Superior insulating properties.
